This is a good thing for Freedom of Speech, right? I mean, if you’re talking to someone who is very timid or shy but wants to speak, this would come in handy. Or maybe you could use it to swear at people and just have your robot take the blame. Just call it AI-Tourettes.

Nah, I’m with dl4breeze on this. It might be being marketed as a phone extension now but imagine how powerful a tool this could be in the wrong hands. I read an old Sci Fi story onceset in a futuristic dystopia where the Govenment reads people’s thoughts using a similar device to intercept crime and dissent. Supermarkets would love this technology too – you think of the next item on your list and are told where in the store it is. They can then compare your thoughts with what you actually buy…
