I love these!
In my work, I create photorealistic renderings of proposed projects. I have long considered doing something similar, but via modeling old scenes in 3D. This is a very cool way to present both the old and the new.
Amazing execution as well. Are you sure these were all done in camera, and not composited later? Regardless – very cool!
Really nice, but I would like to se the full images of today. Especially those of city streets to see buildings that has changed or been removed. Just take the first image. Do the small house still exsist?
What a superb idea. Imagine in 50 years time looking back at old “photographs” from 2009. Kids will be saying, “What, we can’t VR into this picture? There’s no sound?!”
Ideea este fantastica. I-mi place .
Apropo fotografiile din Romania unde sunt facute.
Undeva in Transilvania cu siguranta.
Te salut , numai bine.

Hey! I love your photos. I was absolutely astounded to see in the mix of all of these fairly “Americana” esque photos to see two from Ticino, Switzerland where I live! One is almost certainly the Swiss side of Ponte Tresa, but the second one with the TILO train in the background, where was that? Fantastic photos! Come again, Ticino welcomes you
awersome photos, wicked idea bringing the old in with the newi really like it, dont take this as a crtizisam, just an ovbservation, but i think they would look better without the hand, but if thats part of the concept just forget everything i say…

Just when someone says, “Everything’s been done.” Someone proves them wrong. The power of the imagination. Love it! Wish I thought of it.

Really cool, i wish you would show what is behind the picture you’re holding up though on these, for a sort of a b4 and after effect.
